As believers, we’re familiar with the story arc.

Creation, Fall, Redemption…God created, Man fell, and Christ redeemed us with his work on the cross and resurrection.

The fourth aspect we neglect, too often, is Restoration. The Bible begins in the Garden and essentially takes us back there in Revelation 22. We are restored back into the relationship God intended us to have with him. Continue reading →

Reminder to Visitors & Visitors with Children: You do not need to be a member of Burbank Faith to take communion…You do not have to attend services regularly…You do not have to tithe directly to Burbank Faith…The only requirement is to know Jesus as your Savior.

And bring your kids to the communion table…We trust that you will explain to them what it is all about.

Picking this up in Part Three, I’ve already established that I don’t believe we are looking at a Rapture, Antichrist, 7-year Tribulation, 666-Mark, Battle of Armageddon…and that Jesus did fulfill all he said he would do in Matthew 24 (and in the Gospels Mark & Luke) regarding “that” generation not passing away.

These beliefs move me from a Dispensational/Premillennial camp (Lindsey, LaHaye, Van Impe,  everything we were taught growing up) to a “Partial Preterist” position. Continue reading →

Too often we stop when we see we are outnumbered and, visibly, overmatched in a given situation. We see all we are facing, all we’re going to have to do, and for what? When nothing gives even the smallest hint of a guarantee. Continue reading →
